Starting a new pc project geared towards silent gaming. Project silent linus because I'm building it in a black and orange Be Quiet Base 800. Going to buy parts as I go.

 

Cpu: 5930K (no need for the 8 core Im only going to be gaming anyway)

Cpu cooler: be quiet cpu cooler or a small AIO

Ram: Corsair ddr3 or 4

GPU: pascal or volta

Mobo: X99 Deluxe

PSU: Be quiet psu TBD

Storage: 250gb ssd, 4TB mass storage 7200rpm or higher

Case: Be Quiet BAse 800 no window

Well the Silent Base 800 is a good start and I assume he's going to go with some silent video card, some quiet fans and a fanless or something power supply.

What are the parts that you are going to use in this build?

Intel Core i3 2100 @ 3.10GHz - Intel Stock Cooler - Zotac Geforce GT 610 2GB Synergy Edition

Intel DH61WW - Corsair® Value Select 4GBx1 DDR3 1600 MHz - Antec BP-300P PSU

WD Green 1TB - Seagate 2.5" HDD 1TB - Seagate Barracuda 500GB - Antec X1 E.

Stock fans will do. Im putting a AIO for the cpu cooler. As for the gpu I'm waitning till pascal or volta. For the cpu Maybe a skylake or a lga 2011v3.

Havent decided Ill be creeping the internet for the quietest one or go with a Be Quiet cpu cooler.

A BeQuiet! Dark Rock Pro is nice. Also,look at the fans I linked. Would be great fans to add to the build.

Yeah they are also VERY quiet. Under 20DBA and heave great airflow. They've got a 140mm version also.

Think I'm going to go with a X99 mobo. I only want one that can do 3 way sli. Do you guys have any good suggestions?

I was looking at your storage solution, and I am going to say that most often, the loudest part of your computer will be the HDDs. 

It is kinda nice that the HDD is the loudest part (since they don't make that much sound) , but they are really friggin annoying when they are the only thing you hear.
