why do that?

the ares 2 uses a hybrid cooling solution.

cooling the vrm's,and chipset heatsink with a fan.

so why pay a premium for some cheapo solution?

why not go for a 7990 which costs $900

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131483

then pay $170 for an EK fullcover waterblock

http://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-fc7990-acetal-nickel-incl-backplate.html

or

why not go for a GTX 690 which already has a waterblock on it and is $500 cheaper.

or why not go for dual 7970's and buy waterblocks for them?

all of these are cheaper and better than the ARES II

Because I always have wanted to have something unique, and it will perform better than with a closed loop.

And returning to the question, do you have anything in mind to make it work?

then wait for the GeForce Titan,it's supposedly almost as good as a GTX 690 with a single gpu instead of two, thats unique, something that powerful is in it's own league, and therefore one of a kind (unique).

as for any ideas to doing this I would'nt know where to start.

you could try to remove tubing on the radiator side that takes back the warm coolant and connect it to a custom rad intake chamber and connect the other chamber on the custom rad to the AIO radiator thus completing the loop, thereby increasing the amount of surface area available to dissipate heat.

although with how short the tubing is I doubt that'd work.

you could remove the tubing on the second pump/coldplate (the one on the side opposite the pci bracket) and replace it with equal thickness tubing to make the above possible.

but again not sure as to how good this would work, and you probably don't want to take any chances.
