Through the BLCK. Not much else.

You can increase the base clock a little if your board lets you but it can mess up other stuff in the system since everything is based on the base clock and not really worth overclocking an i3.

not really

A negligible amount via previous mentioned method.

Ok thanks bro, i gonna test, but i guess it will overclock every composant so.

SSD, RAM etc  ?

Is it safe for other hardware ?

You can only overclock certain components - for example, you cannot overclock an SSD.

Just don't go over say 107 BCLK. If you stay within reason everything should be fine.

it's relatively safe if you want to try it, its mainly the RAM and if I recall the GPU that gets affected so it can be running higher than the rated speeds, possibly making the system unstable but you never know.

Assuming your mobo and PSU are decent, yes, you'll be fine. A minor increase in speed won't cause your hardware much trouble.

Changing BCLK can be pretty unstable and normally doesn't give much of a boost

Well, that's on mainstream boards. Enthusiast boards have no problem hitting something like 125MHz usually. It's how people overclocked the i7-3820 back in the day.

No, I have no idea why that CPU exists; a quadcore without OC potential or an iGPU with the same IPC as a 2600K. *shakes head at Intel*

You can only overclock certain components - for example, you cannot overclock an SSD.

ONE DAY. MARK MY WORDS. I WILL OVERCLOCK A SSD.

*proceeds to overclock monitor, both video cards, processor and RAM in defiance of inability to overclock SSD*

(ok not really I just wanted to yell that statement. It's 4am i'll go sleep now)

I have finally moved to a desktop. Also my guides are outdated as hell.
