Yeah, it's pretty cool.

Although, tbh, the protagonist oversimplifies hacking to such a great extent.

He's like "let me bruteforce this password using these three words!"

Lol, he would need a couple proxies to get passed the system, a VPN so he doesn't get tracked down, etc.

At least its not like watchdogs...

About 22 minutes into the first episode.

Plot is extremely good, I don't have any difficulties understanding it, and I think I died when I saw E Corp

Eliot reminds me quite a bit of myself. Except you know, without the Morphine. TBH, I want to be like him. again minus the morphine and drugs and such.

I don't really find any of the plot confusing, I understand most of the things, if not all of it, and its really good so far.

Going to try to finish season 1 today.

This show was picked up for a second season before the first episode was even aired. It's retarded good. I can't wait till next season with a real budget.

It is quite a good show so far. It goes off the wall a bit at times but I see it doing well for 1, maybe two seasons.  After that I am not so sure (i.e. it could go either way).

 

I think one of the things that make it quite good is that it isn't really centered around hacking. It is centered around a young man with a lot of troubles (who also is very good at hacking). This really help make the differnce for the fans who are essentially computer illiterate. It also doesn't going into the hack in great detail. They tell you the premise of the hack, show you a couple of lines in the terminal (which actually relate to what he's doing) all while keeping things on a realistic level, and that's pretty much all you get. Not too much and not too little.

 

I think its a good show. It goes a bit mad at time but you have to wonder is that all part of protagonists mental issues (and not just bad writing).

Its amazing. for the start, for being low budget, best show I have ever seen.

I do know why they didn't go into details with the hacks, Because they don't want people to, you know, try it. Not being 100% super into code and such, From what I've heard, the terms they throw around are for the most part, realistic.

they had to move the air date of the last episode due to it mirroring the events of the week to closely.

 

that said I am so glad they made a wink and a nod to the movie that the tv show was paying homage to.

What a poor ending to series 1, Out of all the episodes this was terrible.

But hoping a series 2 comes out of it. Great Series overall.
