I absolutely fucking hate USPS, My Kershaw Blur Blackwash S30V knife that I ordered on massdrop a few weeks ago finally shipped out on the 6th through USPS First Class Parcel Service, and it just today arrived at one of the fucking USPS locations in my state, which will probably take a day or two for it to actually arrive...

It's been 5 business days, probably going to be 1-3 more until it's delivered, and it's supposed to only take 1-3 business days...

That was the first tracking update that I've gotten from them since the 6th too.

Not even the first time that shit I've ordered has been lost by them, delayed, etc...

Anyone else have some bad experiences with USPS they'd like to share?

Idk for me personally usps has been light years better than ups who randomly decides to not deliver if people are not home only on random items and never comes the same time twice.

I don't even want to talk about dhl....

I don't have issues with USPS when I order stuff through Amazon Prime. Everything has always gotten to my house in a day or two. But it might be because Amazon has 3 warehouses in Texas.

However when I have used USPS International Express That it when my items have taken weeks to get to me. I have always ordered stuff from Japan using DHL and it takes 3 days to get to me. But I decided to try out USPS and it took 2 weeks. One week in transit and another week it sat in customs...

So for me USPS is okay for US but not International.

It's just really pissing me off because I want the knife to arrive before I go camping, and USPS is not standing up to what they tell us...

And for postal services they operate on saturdays, so for them today would have been the 5th day..

Nope. Just because they're open, it's not considered a "business day".

Business days are Monday to Friday, regardless of when they're open.

Did they only have USPS as a shipping choice?

I know in Canada if you ship and it doesn't arrive in time you get your shipping costs back, provided it's XpressPost. Though that wouldn't really assist you.

Yup, I believe the only exception is if you order it through Amazon Prime, because they deliver 7 days a week.

Yeah, it was an expensive ass knife, but the steel should be pretty damn good, and it looks amazing too

I didn't get a choice in what service it shipped through, had I been able to pick I probably woulda gone for UPS instead...

Mail is delivered monday through saturday, usps operates on saturdays.

I could be wrong but I thought the only ones with S30V were the stainless blades, the blackwash blades are 14C28N
