Hello,

I want to upgrade my pc. And first someone told me that my motherboard is probaly an custom one from Asus. So I can't upgrade unless I get a new

motherboard. Now I did some searching about my motherboard abut I couldn't find my motherboard form factor.

So I hope that one of you knows which factor I have.

My pc is a CM1831 from asus. It contains a AMD Phenom II X6 1060T CPU.

Could someone tell me if it's an ATX, Micro-ATX, Mini-ITX or not? Because my new case only supportes those factors.

And here's my update list. (if the form factor is wrong):

Thanks in advance.

If ASUS didn't go crazy it looks like mATX to me. Only 4 pci expansion slots. It could however be something completely arbitrary and it's definitely NOT full ATX.

I agree with @byalexandr

Just scrap it and start over. You'll likely be replacing most components anyway, no?

That build was made when I thought that I needed a new motherboard. So that ment new cpu etc. But it cost (what I've searched) 822 euro.

So I thought maybe I could use this board and cpu again. Then just a new case, psu and gpu. More money for the gpu to spend so I could buy a better one.

I'm gonna to use from this pc: Ram, HDD and SSD. Other parts I'm going to buy myself.

But is that motherboard so bad that I need to just sell it and make a new one?
