Amd FX-8350 + Asus m5a99x Pro r2.0 OC

Turn down the "CPU Current Capability" to 120% and you'll notice a drop in temps, if it is not stable at 120%, do 130%

Im having trouble/need help on how to overclock amd fx-8350 on an Asus m5a99x Pro r2.0 MOBO I recently tried to overclock it but IDK if I did it right cause my CPU temp reached 61c..can anyone help me OC my CPU with this mobo.

PC Specs-CPU:AMD FX-8350

Mobo:Asus m5a99x pro r2.0

PSU:Corsair CX-750w

Ram:2x4gb vengeance ram

GPU:XFX r9 280x DD

Cpu Fan:Noctua nh-u14s

Case:Corsair obsidian 450D Mid

P.S. this pics are showing what I had my CPU Overclocked to and I was hitting 61c

Try turning that voltage down or get a better cooler.

If I were you, I'd go ahead and use AMD Overdrive.

I tried using that but I was unable to turn on CPU overdrive in the amd catalyst center.

What do you have now?  Actually your cooler seems more than sufficient, maybe you failed the silicone lottery.

Thank You..Temps did drop at 130% and it was still stable temps dropped from 61c to 30c
