So I formatted my SSD for Windows 10 and I only just realised I forgot to save all of my bookmarks!!!!!!!!!! :(

This always happens to me when I format....

One of the thing I hate about Internet Explorer is you can't save them to the cloud or whatever like I believe Chrome does.

Well then maybe you should use Chrome instead of IE, you can (or could have) import your bookmarks from IE to chrome.

Nope, I absolutely hate the Chrome (and FireFox) UI, I am too acclimated to IE.

It still sucks, people can throw around benchmarks and features lists, but I still dont like it, I am forced to use it at work for certain things and it makes me want to die

To each his own :P

I've been using it for years and I don't have any problems with it, funny enough I've actually had more problems whenever I've tried to use Chrome.

It's a lack of feature, not a problem. I could have backed it up but I forgot about it - user error.

Plus someone Suggested "Xmarks" which solves the problem and I shall start using it from now on :)

How the fuck can you hate both Chrome and Firefox?? I can see preferring one over the other. But hating them and sticking to IE? IE's UI is similar to Chome/Firefox nowadays so I don't see how you can hate them. Unless you prefer the inferior way that IE puts the tabs right next to the address bar, therefore wasting a good inch of screen on the top, and also making the tabs smaller and harder to get to when you have a lot.

TL:DR Chrome is simple as fuck and IE is sorta similar so how tf do you hate chrome?

EDIT: and with chrome, it automatically backs up your bookmarks, so you don't have to remember to save them. Or install any programs or anything. Now that all your bookmarks are gone, it's a good time to start using chrome and firefox, pick which one you like better, and stick with that instead of IE. There's a reason everyone else besides old people have already switched.

Urm.... You can set the tabs to be displayed under the address bar and it increases the size of the address bar significantly...

One of the main things I like about IE is if I have to close multiple tabs I do not have to move the cursor to each X button, When I close one the other one stretches itself to the cursor so all you have to do is keep clicking :)

You dont have to do that on chrome to close tabs, you just click in one place and the tabs move, or you can right click "close all tabs to the right", "close tab" or "close other tabs"

You can do the exact same thing in Chrome, as long as you keep your cursor in the tab bar and don't move it into the web page, it won't resize the tabs so you can keep clicking. You can also middle click anywhere on the tab to close it, which makes it even easier to close a lot of tabs since you don't have to click on the x at all.
