EK- Predator : EK's AiO announced at Quake Con

niofalpha

Any guesses on whether a 120 would be sufficient enough to overclock a 2600K to 4.5 GHz? My Thermalright air cooler (loud, hulking, annoying beast that it is) doesn't cut it above 4.0, not to mention a quieter option would be nice for my fellow grad students in the office.

What Voltage do you have at 4.0? a 120 rad might do it but not at the best temps (still better than that aircooler though). If you want performance and quiet i suggest a 240 with push pull config (push pull doesn't get you much more performance but you can run the fans at half speed for the same effect but much more quiet)

Currently no word on pricing.

This seems interesting. I may get one of these if they're a good price and expand it later. This seems like it could possibly canabilize the sales of the EKWB Water cooling kits tho.

If the basic AIO performance is similar or better then NZXTs solutions, at not that much higher cost, then DAMN. im totally getting a 360 rad version, as soon as they release a waterblock for hte Fury X2

AIO for GPU that covers everything on the board?

Like the EVGA Hybrid?

yeah a 120 should do it but depends on the chip. Either your cooler is shit or the chip is shit cause 86* at 1.25 is hot even for that generation.

Well, if this thing is amazing in performance as well as deeply silent.  I think I need a case with rad clearance for it.  *_*

This is awesome. If they are able to customize them to order with different multiple gpu waterblocks for sli or crossfire and different colored tubing or coolant this could be a home run. I would get one if they made it with blue tubing or blue coolant.

Lots of confusion it seems.

Radiator is 38mm thick, modified PE design.

Fans are our EK-Vardar Extended Range series, 500-2000RPM.

This will be available in 240mm and 360mm + QDCs variations. Future variations will be considered based on demand.

Pricing is to be finalized but expect it to be similar to our kits.

The water block is EK-Supremcy MX.

Radiator is completely copper and ready for easy expansion via QDCs.

Initially only flagship reference PCBs will have pre filled blocks available, but we will eventually expand upon this.

i have bin waiting for something like this for quite some time. a high quality Expandable AIO with full copper rad. i assume the whole loop will only use copper to prevent gunk up. i hope you will also offer things like Reservoirs with QDCs. also clear tubing would be nice.

Nice when will we get some LxWxH measurements. also please consider clear tubing and metal QDCs or at least black ones for black tubing.

Any plans for just selling the pump/rad-combo? Would be pretty cool.

@Godlygamer23 this thread has not been updated with price or the launch date.

So since you locked the one with actually up to date information (from the official launch not just some announcement at a conference) would you be so kind as to edit the op of this one to include the unique information from the other thread. Thanks!

$200 for the 240mm. Good but not ideal. Hopefully it will go on sale and I could cop one for ~$160.
