3kliksphillip config with 4:3 looks so damn weird... and i am performing worse when i use the AWP as i dunno, disorientating...

you should just use whats best for you. Or you can try to keep playing with this settings and see if you get used to it. I would definitelly lower the Font size.

WAY too much going on in such a small space.  Switching to Left handed models will help but god damn that font is too big

I turn everything down.. well most things so i can see better, and have less CPU usage.

 

4:3 res is blurry on a 1080p screen, it just gives me more hz at a lower res than 60 at 1080p...

 

If i wanted a pretty game i would go play Crysis in benchmark mode for 6 hours.

Try and find a view model that you like and you feel comfortable with. Philip has found his and it's probably unique to himself. I usually feel that setting the view model to classic and leaving it as that is the best way to go. Plus, setting the gun model onto the left hand side of the screen. It's not distracting and not too big. Oh, and that font is terribly obtrusive and in my opinion really needs to go. I have made the HUD smaller for myself too as the default config is far too large at 4:3 stretched.

EDIT: I don't believe that 4:3 standard has given a solid representation of what it all looks like in game. So this should. 

 

 

EDIT 2: Here's the other settings that may help you sort out a solid view model setting. At least, my settings you can adapt to get something that's perfect for you.

Personally I prefer to play at native at 16:9 to get the best field of view possible, being able to see more tactically helps me more than having bigger player models to shoot at
