Going back on topic: I, unfortunately, don't know of any Torrent programs other than uTorrent really.

afaik only illegal things are not allowed, and using p2p isn't illegal it's how you use it is the target of the things in the CoC.

 

so if you're using p2p to share files you have the rights to then why not.

Doing so may result in the termination of your account without notice. In addition, any of the following violations are grounds for action being taken on your post and/or account:
Seeking help to create or find cracks.
Seeking missing files that are supplied with copyrighted installation CD(s)
Admitting to being involved in the distribution of copyrighted software/media, cracks and product keys.
Requesting or discussing the trade, sale, exchange or supply of any copyrighted material including (but not limited) to TV recordings, DVDs, movies, music, software etc.
Identifying torrents sources or websites where copyright material may be obtained.
Provide or request login details for restricted websites.
 
 
I am assuming he is downloading legit copies of ubuntu, freebsd and legit game patchor sharing the song they had created and recorded in the shower :P

Nah, torrenting is fine and legal. What's not okay on this forum is "What's the best torrent website [referring to illegal piracy]" or "Where can I torrent Borat" (for example)

Yeah, I realised that torrents aren't always illegal downloads. Got confused for a bit there.

utorrent program is allowed, its just a program

 

btw, offtopic, i just realized how worse my life is when i dont wear glasses (on repair). stuff constantly in my eyes LOL

yay today i get my glasses back + i get FHD vision back.

Doci need to configure any settings when i get that one, or will the standard settings good?

Just change to have more cache, I set on 1024mb, but probably 256mb is also ok.

I moved to Deluge for now but I will check few ones posted here as I don't like how Deluge handles finished files (same reason why I don't really like Transmission).
