The 2 button Microsoft 'Serial-Mouse Port Compatible Mouse 2.0' (bought for the PS/2 connector, the one with the serial connector and patent pending on it needs a new connector) which was used with my 386 DX-40 Windows 3.1 rig (with 8 whole megabytes of RAM).

I have a Razer Deathadder. I bought it right after the 2013 edition came out (it's not a 2013 edition), and it's still going strong. It was only 40 bucks, so I'm more than happy with my purchase.

I've heard others say that Razer stuff sucks, but my next mouse will probably be a Deathadder Chroma. Just because.

"A picture is starting to form here... I wonder if it's accurate? Some pieces don't quite seem to fit. Or maybe I just don't like the way it looks."

With my giant hands I have always struggled with finding one I am truly happy with. I am currently using a Mad Catz RAT due to it's adjustable size. Not completely happy but it's better than some of the ones I've had.

See I'm a 21st century digital boy,
I don't know how to live but I've got a lot of toys.

The rapid scroll wheel, decent amount of fully programmable buttons and shape that fits my hand like an inverted glove makes the G502 my all-time favourite mouse ever. Seriously, I am spoiled to death by that scroll wheel, having it is such a nice thing, especially when on the boards.

you know you can adjust the speed of the scroll wheel on every mouse in windows right?

I know that, but the one on the G502 is a flywheel. It's so much better. Flick once and you're at the bottom of the document.

you mean there are two scroll wheels on it?

Nope, there is just one. There's a button that clicks a small latch onto the wheel. When its engaged it functions as a normal incremental scroll wheel. when disengaged, it's a free-spinning wheel. If there's a mile-long wall of code in a programming environment or a huge long pdf document or a massive spreadsheet, it is a godsend.

you can also push ''end'' on the keyboard and it will do the same i guess...
