so i bought a kraken x61, im gonna be running it in a pull configuration. I want to add dust filters to the 2x140mm rad, which company makes the best aftermarket dust filters?

Space Journal #1: So Apparently i  was dropped on the moon like i'm a mars rover, in a matter of hours i have found the transformers on the dark side of the moon. Turns out its not that dark since dem robots are filled with lights, i waved hi to the Russians on the space station, turns out all those stories about space finding humans instead of the other way around is true(soviet Russia joke). They threw me some Heineken beer and I've been sitting staring at the people of this forum and earth since.

SIlverstone has magnetic dust filters. It's a really fine mesh so almost no dust will go through.

Silverstone makes some pretty nice filters for standard 120-140mm sizes but if you need one specific to your case or a custom sized on DemciFlex is pretty nice:

doesnt need to be magnetic. they make filters for both ferrous and non ferrous metals

As said their filters can come with a opposing magnetic strip that allows you to attach them to plastic, aluminum or other openings.

silverstone ultrafine IMO

the next best thing would be a hepa filter but you need to make that yourself

yea, HEPA filters would be hard to make into the radiator size and trying to fit it in with the existing screw holes, i have a HEPA air purifier, i can just cut some out of the included filter in there. i dont know how it will perform though, or how i would have to clean the dust out of one since it picks up almost everything.

the filter would be like 2" thick because it needs to be folded so many times just to be able to pull air through it

so very high static pressure is needed

also you need to replace it when it gets dirty, its not a reusable filter

that is insanely smart, but my air purifier is a circular/cylinder type where the air comes out of the top for 360 degrees.

the layout of my house will make that plan insanely unacceptable with my family, they hate that i run a blue ethernet cable from the living room router to my room which is only 50 ft. away without any turns or corners. so im sure having a giant tube running from the dining room to my room would be insane.

mine is behind my PC

with the front panel off:

I would love a giant tube going through my house :D

oh and you could buy white ethernet cable and wire it properly in the corners of the ceiling/floor to make it almost invisible
