GTA San Andreas

 

4096x2160 50hz

 

Perfect fluid framerate throughout, and really surprised TBH as GTA is a large game by PS2 standards.

Burnout 2 Point of Impact.

 

Only playable with 1920x1080 resolution, but with 4xMSAA FPS drops to 50-55FPS during crash scenes.

 

Otherwise you could hold a solid framerate with a 7770 with 2xMSAA at 1920x1080.

 

This game has a lot of graphical issues, some i managed to fix... but there is some clear texture issues with half of the cars, and software rendering or any other hardware standard is not able to overcome the problem.

Fixed some issues by messing with hardware hacks in the video tab.

Here you can see the issue extends further than what i am capable with this version of the emulator, seems to be an issue that will be fixed in later PCSX2 revisions.

Silent Hill 3.

 

1920x1080 4xMSAA

 

60hz

 

Fluid framerate at 60FPS, however there is some minor shadow bugs that i could not fix.

Just to correct myself, i have registered over on the PCSX2 forums, they have confirmed that it is only 3 core support, not the full 4 cores, but damn it's impressive.

NFS Underground 2.

 

Completely unplayable at any resolution, eats Vram for breakfast.

 

4K froze my entire PC.

 

1920x1080 with no AA was a slideshow at like 1.2FPS

1280x720 was 10FPS

Native PS2 res was the same as 720p.

 

This screenshot is 4K in the menu.

Pretty sure the older build let me play GT4 with 55-60fps on my older 2600K + 5850

Can't remember settings, (I would have used downsampling though) but if the EMU is faster than it used to be, I'm sure that game is fully playable too.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

Yakuza 60hz. 1920x1080 4xMSAA perfect FPS, but MSAA caused visual glitches in some scenes, so reverted to no AA.

 

4K 35-40FPS.
