Should I Get 2 760 or One 770?

CoCoisConfused

Or should I get one GTX 760 and then wait till I have enough money to get a 780?

2 760s for looks (but heat, power consumption), 1 770 for 1080p monitor, save for 780 if 1440p monitor

I would personally go for (and will go for) dual GTX 760 4GB. They outperform even a GTX Titan. Sure, there's more heat and microstuttering, but I don't mind, and I can't afford a 780.

Have you considered a single 7970 or 2 7950's?

What resolution are you using?

I would go dual 760 for performance and 770 for less power consumption and heat. If you have a good psu and good airflow in your case then go dual 760 but also remember that alot of stuff isn't optimized for sli. What will this build be for? Editing, gaming, both? Honestly I would probably go 780 but what is this for?

2 Asus 24 inch monitors 1920 1080p

A single 7970/770 would already max out pretty much everything at 1080p.

Remember though if you go with two 760s, and a game you play doesn't like SLI, you'll be limited to a single 760, and a single 770 will beat it.

Then I would probably go dual 760, though what psu do you have and what case?

If its 600w then I would be very skeptical that you could even run dual 760

Yeah its going to be using 584ws I dont want to push my psu that hard

get 2 760... they perform better then a 780. in 1440p they ofter perform nearly as good as a Titan, Mazbe get a new PSU aswell, and you are safe :D

Also most games today directly come with pretty good SLI profiles.. espacially optimized for the 600 and 700 series.

Sometimes they even beat the Titan

No so if you wanted to do dual you would also have to upgrade your psu and if you do that you might as well be paying for a 780 right there.
