Hey guys!

I need your help again!

So my current cpu the amd fx 8350 is cooled by the zalman cnps5x but the temps are quiet high for idle 40 degrees to 45 degrees idle! And it has also started to get fairly loud :/

I have narrowed it down to 2 watercoolers and 1 air cooler

-The Corsair H80i-which is fairly pricey

-The Coolermaster Seidon 120 v2

-The Noctua NH-U12S

I am leaning towards the coolermaster seidon 120 v2 because it is a watercooler so i am assuming it would keep it fairly cool and quiet at the same time and it is less than half the price than the h80i!

If there are any other options please tell me :)

If it is a watercooler it has to be a 120mm radiator (because my case the gx 500 struggles with the ceiling height of 240mm radiators)

THankyou!

just saying that a cheap air cooler like the hyper 212 evo cools almost the same as the seidon 120V so I'd say go for an air cooler over a 120mm aio. The only aio that's really worth it over a air cooler would be a 240mm aio

a friend of mine uses a Seidon 120V with her FX 8350 and it does pretty damn good temps on her CPU. but for peace of mind i'd just throw a 212 evo on it and call it a day.

Like others, I'd reccomend a Hyper 212 EVO with push/pull static pressure fans, as my 8350@ 4.5Ghz stays around 35ish°C idle and 55° load with the fans on full blast (try to get quiet fans if you can)

you do know amd  dont post real temps?

your 212 evo wont be getting  55c at 4.5 when my 4690k gets 52c on stock with a cryorig r1 ultimate. amd is known for false temp  readings.
