So right now I have a iPhone 5 and will soon be getting a HTC One, and I was wondering:

1. How do I convert iTunes music into FLAC and be able for iTunes to play FLAC?

2. Once I have that done do I just upload the file into my phone?

If you bought the music off of itunes I doubt you can play them on some other device without some fancy DRM remover. To put music on your phone simply connect it via USB to your PC and it will come up as a storage device, then you can simply drag/drop whatever you want onto it.

Why would you convert to FLAC? I don't see any benefit in it.

I'm pretty sure you can just store it on your phone like any other storage device and you'll be able to access it. Apple is the only one I know that makes phones that need a finicky process to transfer music.

IF all else fails just play the music as if you were listening to it and record the output using your pcs sound mixers.

Grammar and spelling is not indicative of intelligence/knowledge.  Not having the same opinion does not always mean lack of understanding.

Locate music from iTunes music folder and copy them to some other folder. Try transferring music straight to your device and playing them. No need for FLAC (or use since files are packed already and propably some lower bitrate). If you want to make sure there isn't any drm issues, play music and record it with Audacity. This requires some time though.

Like others have said, there is no point. You won't notice a difference in audio quality. You will just make the file size larger for no reason so don't do it.

And to upload to the phone you plug the phone in via usb, go to my computer, open the phone directory, and drag and drop into the music folder.
