well Android and Windows device support micro sd cards so why not just pull the one in your device out (not with apple though), or you could just use NFC (again not with apple), or cloud storage, or email.(last two with apple). this device really isn't needed in any real respect.

They said the same thing when Karl Benz invented the car.

the didn't solve a problem, it was an enhancement. this is neither. Just like NFC didn't solve any problems (transferring files from one person to another) but enhanced the ability to do so.

I'm pretty sure the people back then would say that not having fast, comfortable and weather proof transportation was a problem worthy of solving.

Just because you don't see something doesn't mean it doesn't exist. I'm sure there's someone cleverer than us who can come up with a use for the technology.

With Samsung getting rid of micros SD slot and NFC can be slow and cumbersome. But I guess you don't like consumer optoins

off topic but you realize the first cars were less weather proof than a stagecoach right? the car was an advancement in technology, this is just two pre-existing technologies combined to produce the same effect, with more trouble as you will want to have a password on the wifi for this thing, as what is already available.

Yeah I do, but progress has to start somewhere, exactly the point I was making.

Benz invented the car, everyone laughed at him. 20 years later Henry Ford improves on the design and mass produces it, suddenly its the biggest thing in the world.

It takes the right invention in the right hands and at the right time for something to transition from useless to useful.

Just wanna throw this in as its pretty spectacular tbh...

So basically it produces its own wifi signal, which is the same as this
