2 x Radeon 390x or single Gtx980Ti

I know that 390x means more perfomence but i dont know what games Crossfire supports. I plan gamming on 1440p :)

If anyone have something like "list" of games that crossfire suppors or etc. please post it :)

Regards

if you are just going to be playing 1440p 1 R9 390x is enough, but if you want overkill go with GTX 980 TI, since 1 GPU is always better than 2, but 2 R9 390x is more preformacne

Then lets change it to 4K I personally think that 4k is overkill on modern games . If i will game on 4k i just need 70/80+ fps

Yeah what he said, honestly don't be looking at a 980 ti unless you plan on playing 4k.

Open a ticket on AMD, they should provide you with explicit list of CrossFire games

alternatively you could just look up your most played games and see of they support it.

All recently released AAA games suport CrossFire, with exception of Batman, and maybe some other bad games that you wouldn't want to play regardless

CPU: Intel i7 5820K @ 4.20 GHz | MotherboardMSI X99S SLI PLUS | RAM: Corsair LPX 16GB DDR4 @ 2666MHz | GPU: Sapphire R9 Fury (x2 CrossFire)

Then lets change it to 4K I personally think that 4k is overkill on modern games . If i will game on 4k i just need 70/80+ fps

I play on 4k, and most games I get 60-70 fps on ultra with My 980TI, Also I found this on a older post in the LTT:

You can view a list of pre-defined crossfire profiles within catalyst control center.

Start by opening catalyst control center, using advanced view navigate to the gaming tab then select "3D Application Settings"

From here, select "Add..." choose any .exe or file (in this example I used an mp4), preferably not a game unless you want to make a game specific profile.

Select your newly added entry. At the bottom, under "AMD CrossFireX Mode" change "default" to "Use AMD pre-defined profile"

This will give you both a search bar, and a small window to scroll through every pre-defined profile. After you're done, feel free to delete the test profile so it doesn't accidentally interfere with regular use.

Crossfire support is not limited to pre-defined profiles. Crossfire will "work" in nearly every game. Manual changes to crossfire mode can improve/change experiences if needed. Only games with compatibility issues or in need of tweaks tend to get specific pre-defined profiles made for them.

if you got 2 R9 390x, 750w would be cutting it really close
