Which version of the Nvidia GTX 970 is the best?

I'm building my first gaming PC and cannot decide which version of the GTX 970 to get? Can somebody tell me which version is the best and why?

970 G1 gaming best cooler and a back plate.

An AMD cpu has no place in a solely gaming build, end of.

I3 4150, Intel HD graphics, corsair CX750M, 4gb ram, Asus H81M-E, corsair 230T, Intel stock cooler WD Green 2TB Gigabyte 550TI

Otherwise, the GTX 970 G1 or EVGA.

Recommend what is best, not what you preffer.

It really depends on what you want out of it and it's not that big of a difference

I have the Asus Strix one and I love it

MSI and Gigabyte cards seem to be great as well (maybe better than the strix)

Gigabyte GTX970 G1

 

- same noise as MSI 4G or Strix on load

- cooler then msi or asus 

- able to mod it to 0fan spin mode on idle

 

If you dont mind its length probably the best 970 for its price.
