Which mouse?

Go to solution Solved by brokencross,

Fingers together, my hands are about 3 and 3/4 inches (9.5cm) wide. I tend to use a claw/palm grip.

So essentially fingertip grip?

The FK1/FK2 and ZA11/ZA12/ZA13 are made for clawgrip, although I have 19cm long hands and still find it comfortable using a fingertip grip (I use a FK1).

The EC1-A/EC2-A are made for palm grip/fingertip grip. They're similar to the MS IE3.0.

I love my corsair m65, though if you're set in stone about one of those 4 mice, the g502 is an amazing choice.

m65 is bad. please. yes it looks nice, yes it feels nice, but it doesn't do the main mouse thing well, it doesn't point at stuff well.

Id recommend the Razer Ouroboros, but i think that one is a little more expensive, but it can switch parts depending on how you like to hold your mouse, its also wireless  :)

worst razer mouse to ever exist

I have narrowed it down to the:

Logitech G502

Logitech G303

FinalMouse

Razer Deathadder Chroma

I have a budget of ~$70 US (€65). If there are any better options out there, I might be open to a bit higher cost. Thanks!

It's been wonderful for me, not a single issue with tracking at all, no acceleration (enhanced pointer precision disabled in mouse settings).

10/10 would buy again. (Though hopefully the mouse lasts for quite a few years so I won't have to xD)

I <3 my G502. it fits my hand really well, the sensor is awesome and with all of the weights added it is the perfect weight for me, which happens to be the exact same as the wonderful but unfortunately dead G500 it replaced.

the few extra buttons it has are well placed, and don't get in the way of using the mouse, yet you only have to move your thumb a little bit to use them.

Both the Logitechs will have the best build quality. What grip do you use and how big are your hands?

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

You could just go the route of the legendary G502... Or go full baller and get the M45. I have the M40 (just a different sensor) and it's pretty damn comfy and nice overall.

I am 6' tall if that helps. Around 1.8m

I'm 6'3 and the G502 fits awesomely. I have slightly larger than average hands. it's a bit longer than most mice, so if you palm it your fingertips don't fall off the end, but it is still comfortable with a claw/fingertip grip and with smaller hands (according to my friends)

I've been returning to different Deathadder incarnations for years. It's one of the tallest mice there is, which feels very comfortable in MY hand. For all those years it's weakest point was it's feet. They are too slim and the NEW mouse was always scratching it's "belly" on hard mosepads. The remedy is to stick a new feet on top of the old one's.

I can personally recommend

Asus ROG Gladius

And my friend can enthusiastically recommend

Mad Catz R.A.T 7

Otherwise

i would go with the logitech G402

cheaper and more fps focused than the g502 and more comfy than the g303

Dont buy razer, they aren't exactly praised by the community for a reason (or 2).

Final mouse...its a good mouse but not worthy of the hype

razer deathadder is the only razer product that is actually fine. rat7 is laser, doesn't compete. g402 is not better than either g502 or g303, it's different. g303 is comfortable for people with claw grip.

Whats wrong with Razer? :P

1. horrible quality control

2. Cutting corners wherever they can

3. Overpriced products

4. Their products have quality feel but if you strip it down the quality ain't that good

and many more just ask someone

EDIT:

5. Fake commercial (that kraken headset mic test is more fake than...its fake beyond measurements)

6. Their fanboys

"They Blackwidow is actually of higher quality than the K70 because instead of having the metal on the outside it has it inside to prevent bending".

"The Razer switches are better quality because they are made by a gaming company and not a typing company"

"Those who hate razer are people that can't afford their products are just a bunch of jealous poor people" <-- this quote was posted on LTT along time ago

(I may have altered the quotes because i don't have photo realistic memory but this is basicly what i have heard them say).

-.-

I hope i answered your question :)

Oh I am sure you don't feel it. But it's there and that would kill me personally, I would think every time that I bought an inferior product, since especially now there are so many mice with perfect sensors.
