Is changing Laptop motherboard is possible?

Hello everyone, so I have questions that has stuck in my mind for awhile now; is changing Laptop motherboard possible? I somehow burned my old Laptop motherboard (Anything else is fine except the battery). I don't think it's worth changing the motherboard because of technical complication. Thank you in advance for giving opinion for me. I really appreciate it.

It's not worth the hassle if it's possible.

it's hard to do. you're best buying a new laptop of the same model and keeping your old one for parts.

We can't Benchmark like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to shove more GPUs in your computer. Like the time I needed to NV-Link, because I needed a higher HeavenBench score, so I did an SLI, which is what they called NV-Link back in the day. So, I decided to put two GPUs in my computer, which was the style at the time. Now, to add another GPU to your computer, costs a new PSU. Now in those days PSUs said OCZ on them, "Gimme 750W OCZs for an SLI" you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was that I had two GPUs in my rig, which was the style at the time! They didn't have RGB PSUs at the time, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big green ones.

Possible, probably.

Worth it, look up the price on a replacement and if it's less than $50, probably

Yes, but only as long as you have the EXACT same model, you can't take an HP pavilion mobo and throw it into an alienware and expect the system to be happy about it.

Possible, but where to buy the new one?

Also it's harder to remove than a PC, not worth the time in my opinion.

As long as you order the exact same motherboard, it is replaceable, but most of the time it isnt worth doing. You will most likely be better off buying a new laptop unless this is a very expensive laptop.

It should just be a matter of unscrewing everything, pulling the mobo out, putting a new one in, connecting everything and reassembling it.

You can upgrade any components or peripherals on your PC and keep your license intact. You can replace the motherboard with an identical model or an equivalent model from the OEM if it fails. However, if you personally replace or upgrade the motherboard, your OEM Windows license is null and void.
