Is this contact going to be an issue? I remember people giving EVGA hell for something similar on their original ACX cooler.

 

It also doesn't have any direct cooling for the memory it seems

I only wish they would have reversed the pipe arrangement so you could see multiple pipes on the top. That would give it more of a hot rod appearance. The heat pipes on the MSI 980 Ti Gaming look cool that way in comparison.
