Can you help me?

Go to solution Solved by Rohith_Kumar_Sp,

so in a few years it will be able to max out games at 1080p?

depends on what game, no card today can max out in a few years, get a 970 you can max out for another 2. you will still be able to play games at High for another 3-4 if you turn off AA.

Hey, I've been thinking of buying a new graphics card but do not know what I'm looking to buy any of the MSI GeForce GTX 970 Gaming 4G or Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 Gaming G1. but because it is not 4gig as they say, but 3.5 so I'm thinking about maybe buying MSI Radeon R9 390 GAMING 8G or something similar. I can waste up to around $ 484 do not know how much things cost where you live but because I live in Sweden so for me it is 4000kr. so you can help me to choose a good graphics card does not have to be any of those I have written. I have 8gig ram  the Intel Core i7-2600K.

been there done that, its not 3.5, moving on, 970 in no way will hurt your performance for a 1080p gaming.

No the 970 has 4gb of ram. For 1080p it is a great card, for 1440p it is awesome. I wouldn't buy a 390 over it unless I was going 4k. Even then I'd go for a 980ti or fury x. Believe me, the ram issue was blown way out of proportion by ppl who didn't even own the card. Only a small amount of ppl who owned the card actually had issues.

My rig:
CPU: i5 4690k 24/7 @4.4ghz (1.165v) Max 4.7ghz (1.325v) COOLER: NZXT Kraken X61 MOBO: Asus Z97-A   RAM: 16GB Crucial Ballistix Tactical   GPU: EVGA GTX 970 SSC   PSU: EVGA GS 650W   CASE: NZXT Phantom 530 HDD: WD Caviar Blue 1TB + WD Black 2TB

The g1 gaming has the best cooler and the best binned chips so it is generally better for overclocking
