So you have had no issues at all with a 480 and 7950, in that case I may get the 980ti instead.

I want to know what possible conflicts there could be if I had both in my PC, whether or not there is will help me decide if I go for a Fury X or 980ti.

 

 

If you're curious as to why, within the next couple weeks I'm planning on having a FuryX/980ti, a 290, a 7870 XT and a 5750 in my PC. The last three will be folding 24/7 and the FuryX/980ti will be folding when not being used for gaming.

I'm not going to get both a Fury X and 980ti, just one or the other. I'm am trying to find out what sort of issues may arise from having 3 AMD GPUs and 1 Nvidia GPU all running at once (290, 7870XT, 5750 F@H 24/7 and 980ti folding when not being used for gaming).

 

If there will be problems that cannot be overcome than I'll just have to stay with AMD and get a Fury X.

He doesn't plan to use both. He wants to get one or the other and is asking us if having the 980Ti in a system with a few older AMD GPUs will cause a conflict. The Fury X is his back up plan.
