Has anyone got both an AMD and Nvidia card in their system folding simultaneously?

Go to solution Solved by flibberdipper,

So you have had no issues at all with a 480 and 7950, in that case I may get the 980ti instead.

Nope. No issues at all.

Don't mind me *pulling close to 900 watts in Firestrike*

Two cards or more?

I would try........

Except F@H ended support for Tesla cards. I think......

RIP GTX 280 if they ended support

If they haven't, i'll give it a go when i get my new case(H440).

Pretty much explains it all.

Also, you got enough for a i5 and a S340 but you can't get a decent GPU?

I'm only 13 and i found graphic cards at goodwill for 10-20 bucks.

That's how i got my GTX 280 for 7 bucks.

Looking at local thrift stores or Goodwill is a option to find some cheap GPUs.

I check weekly. I've heard stories of like 480's showing up for $20 and still running to this day. IDK about you, but here in nashville the best PC hardware we get is CRT monitors :/

I found X1900 for like 10 bucks lol.

I once got a Logitech Driving Force Pro for 20 bucks.

Honestly it depends where you live. Where i live(Seattle), there's a lot of PC recycle parts center where they sell cheap parts and monitors. I once found a Asus LGA 775 board for 10 bucks...

Yeah 2 way GTX 580s max OC is 900Mhz on the core and 2300Mhz on the memory (double that for effective clock) at 1.1 volts. And 4.5Ghz on my 3770k at just under 1.3 volts. I've also got 5 80mm fans and 4 hard drives which adds up to about 870ish watts at the wall.
