Asus Strix GTX 970 resolution problem

i have a friend who has a Asus Strix GTX970 that for some reseason only can display a resolution of 800x600, any of you ever heard of that problem before, and yes he has tried to uninstall and install drivers and stuff like that icon_e_smile.gif

what type of connection are you using on your screen?

 

VGA is limited to 800x600

 

i stand corrected

might be newer screens or HD ready screens can get more

Make sure it's attached to the GPU and not the motherboard.
