BEST GPU for resolution!

I got a 2k monitor and im thinking what GPU should i get to play on 2k and can max out most of the game??

980ti

Dual 290x

 

probably best options ^ 980ti being best

well then that's QHD or 2.5K, 2.5K is also not very good to use since it could be 2560x1600 or 2560x1440.

R9 390x would be even better

in what possible scenario

 

Wait for a Fury X or otherwise dual 290s while you can still find em or dual 970s

2x290 is smart, 2x970 is not, since 980ti is the same cost.

Guys what about 1080p max out??

GTX 970 is more than enough

 

or if you're moving to 1440p later in the future, I would get a 980Ti (personally)

Yes for 1080p a 970 would be 60fps AAA maxed out just fine maybe a 980 if you are a proper FPS junkie! ;)

Yes. The 780 Ti is roughly level with a 980. Two of them will probably be about level with, if not slightly better than, a 980 Ti.

Yeah but a 780Ti is MUCH more expensive than a 980 ($100-$200)
