Guys what about 1080p max out??

REALLY 2560×1440 really need a 980ti?? Not even 4k

1080p in the latest games AA maxxed out and everything. A 980Ti. Look up SloppyWetBlow on YouTube he does benchmarks. A 980timin GTA v maxxed out settings got 60fps. 4k requires a 980Ti in my eyes to stay above the 30 FPS mark. For 1440p at very high settings a 980Ti is required for 60fps gameplay.

If you're going to spend a grand on GPUs it may as well be on a Titan X instead of rebadged 290Xs.

Those 290xs or rebadged ones would eat that Titan x for breakfest.. A Titan x is not a card to buy. You could get SLI 980s also for $1000. Or wait for Fury X or get a 980ti, there are ways to save money and not get a Titan x. It's a useless card. Oh and the 295x2 which is basically two cards. I can't wait to see what the fury x2 can achieve.

You said if your gonna spend $1000 on GPUs misewell get a Titan x, well I put many ways you could get better performance for the same amount of money or less.

Still missing the point. Of course no one should buy a Titan X. Just like no one should spend a grand on two 290Xs.

Do you also call consumer uHD 3.8K? lol

while uhd is the correct term, 3840x2160 is also defined as the consumer 4k and it definitely causes less confusion than 2k, because 1080p is closer to 2k than 1440p is.
