Well I was looking around for a pair of senheisser IE80's and came across this website www.defswag.com

 

The price they are selling it for is only £69.99 

 

The IE80's usually go for RRP £269

 

Scam or not guys??

very shady.

 

the logo gives me the chills too. i can make that in paint.net in 5 seconds.

I know, like as soon as I saw this deal I had a mini heart attack at how cheap it was but then started questioning the validity of the website. 

You've 30 days to return the item but the site only takes debit and credit cards. 

 

I'd avoid. Unless you want to risk it and either end up with ballin' buds or sell them on later.

I've looked at other headphones on the site including the klipsch image x10 which they are selling for £55 where as it retails on amazon for £99.99, if things are this cheap, it is probably sketchy Im guessing

Well the sites been up for over 2 years and is "safe" according to scamadvisor.com

 

Though checked a few categories with "by avg review" as "sorted by" and i can see no reviews of products

I ordered the sennheiser momentums from them last Friday (8 days ago) - it should be here within the next 2 days. If not, I'll let you guys know.

 

I'd also like to point out that I contacted them 7 days ago about getting the address changed (it still hasn't even been dispatched, so that shouldn't have been a problem) - still no reply. The support is terrible so far, it hasn't been dispatched, and there's only 2 days left for their maximum order time so thing's aren't looking great at the moment.

 

Do not recommend using them - however, I'll let you know if the item actually comes.

EDIT: My mistake, I ordered the product 12 days ago - so it's already 2 days late, and I haven't received a reply from them for 11 days. I will be processing a dispute with my bank in the next couple of days - I do not recommend ordering with them, this is most probably a scam!

Made an account just to share a similar experience.

Ordered some Sennheiser CX400s on Thursday 18th of June (shouldn't have ordered in the first place, they were far too cheap.) It is now almost 3 weeks since ordering and they haven't even been shipped! I emailed them just to try and cancel them, but no reply nearly 5 days later! I'm starting to smell a rat, I can't find the Sennheisers on their site now, and I doubt I'll get a reply! Definetely avoid this site.

Let me know if you have any success or if you receive them.

Well, despite 2 emails sent to try and cancel the order, the headphones have now shipped! It's quite clear that they never bother checking emails, so now I will be left with a probably fake product! I'll have to try and return it for a refund.

 

It's usually easiest to tell based off the box rather than the product itself. Sennheiser makes really nice boxes, like, REALLY nice. Still cardboard and plastic, but printing and overall feel of the box is immaculate.

Well I have just received them and my worst fears have been confirmed: these are indeed fake!

Firstly, the jiffy bag they came in had my address hand written, not on a printed label as you would expect from a company selling large amounts of goods.

The packaging was very convincing: no spelling errors or anything to make me think they are fake. So I opened the box and examined the headphones. They appeared genuine until I plugged them in and played a song. Wow, the sound was awful! Extremely hissy and vocals were horribly tinny. Not much bass and the sort of thing you'd expect from free headphones that come with your phone!

Also, the logo on the pouch was at an angle and not dead straight.

Therefore, this site is operating illegally by selling counterfeit goods. I will desperately try for a refund, though I doubt this will happen as my 2 previous emails were ignored! Will be reported to Trading Standards.
