I personally dislike it, but I would find it even worse if it weren't allowed.... my answer is basically yes it should be allowed, but it is stupid and not creative, unless it is somehow genuinely funny and not offensive.  (if that is "outlawed" then where do mods stop, that is a pretty weird thing to put against the rules)

I dislike it quite a lot. Don't see the point.

 

I was actually gonna start something like this but related to gifs as avatars. Some of them are very flashy and annoying to me.

People can have whoever they want as an Avatar and we shouldn't limit them but it's super fucking overly attached pseudo stalker-ie.

 

One thing that I hate about YouTube in general is that people talk like they know him/her, like they are his/her friend. You aren't. Stop being so attached and get a girlfriend, or a new best friend, maybe a dog. It's pathetic to be honest

it gets confusing and annoying... it makes it seem like they are replying / posting .. i usually have to do a doubletake to see if it's really them replying or if it's some regular moron.
