Not that I know of.  Just a geek that wishes I could own my own xenomorph.  I would name it Geoffrey and he would keep my neighbor's damned chihuahua off of my patio.

The distro is called Korora. It's basically Fedora with Gnome, but with a beauty makeover and some user-friendly additions, such as pre-installed media codecs. There are several desktop environments available if Gnome isn't your cup of tea.

How tweakable is it? I'd like to learn how to OS' which is the reason I got Linux

Depends on which desktop environment you are talking about and what exactly you want to tweak. Gnome isn't the most configurable desktop, but offers a decent amount of options out of the box. So called "Gnome extensions" add a lot of highly desirable customizing options.

The underlying Linux distro, Fedora, is highly tweakable and has an excellent Wiki to go along with it.

http://winaero.com/blog/how-to-enable-quick-launch-in-windows-10/

Some notes:

  • You do not necessarily need to use the quick launch folder; you can use any folder.
  • I recommend leaving show title and show text checked (this is how I have it)
  • If you don't want to see the folders name, you can, when renaming the folder, hold ALT and type 255
  • Don't forget to add shortcuts to the folder
