How to survive the summer heat.

sterreprop

Hey guys,

It's 30C here (86F) in Holland.

How i survive:

  • Drinking something cold
  • keeping the sun out off my room (it's hotter outside and i'm not going to stay outside the whole day)

I don't have a ventilator/airco do you guys know a good one?

And how do you survive the summer heat?

We had a small storm today and its super hot, strange UK weather, staying inside is the easiest way for me to keep cool.

Get one of those camping chairs and dampen the arm rests with water, or soak your forearms in cold water. It was on the news. "This is what the mililtary does", since forearms are closes to you chest or something, I don't even know but they said it works.

30C isn't that bad, it was 105F (40C) here in NH for a couple days. I just put the ac on and drank a lot of Mountain Dew.

Here in a certain town in the south-eastern US I average about 90 Farenheit everyday along with the humidity above 85% everyday, you sweat A LOT. coming inside from being outside for a couple of hours, you find that you are soaked in sweat head-to-toe.

I don't survive.

My mom doesn't get hot so the house is always 80F or above.  And the computer room is probably another 5F on top of that.  Ugh.

I want to go back to school and have the AC locked on max again. :)

It's 102 degrees Fahrenheit back here in Arizona. Surviving the heat is easy.

I live in Georgia where as you might know, it get VERY hot and humid. As in like 102F and 99% humidity. Put rags in a cooler with ice and rubbing alcohol and let them sit for a little. Then put them on the back of your neck and voila! Regular ice packs work fine too, just make sure to put them on the back of your neck.
