Either they are jumping the gun a bit early, or cortana really is going to make a major change to how the average user uses windows

Yeah, Linux is a little more "open" when it comes to keyboard keymapping.

It's fucking easy as fuck on win.

Cortana is the reason Witcher 3 runs badly on Kepler.

Not everyone can type fast. Like at all. (i.e., your mom and pops). So this is not as dumb as you all are saying.

In the sense of you just speaking and it typing then it might be helpful but, some computers don't have mics and you could just learn how to type. 40 WPM is A OK

With as strong as Cortana is growing inside Windows 10 I think we will see more of this as Windows 10 progresses along with Cortana. It's easy to just tap a button and ask Cortana what you want instead of mashing at keys. It's also useful for those who don't want Cortana always listening (e.g. "Hey Cortana" feature). Cortana will become our own Jarvis in Windows 10 a dedicated Cortana button being acknowledged can be a handy feature.

Issue: cortana doesn't work in all regions so this keyboard is very region specific.

I wish I could just use English Cortana in the Netherlands dammit.

Cortana is ok, but when you compare it to google now its sucks. I may or may not turn it off when i upgrade to windows 10. i tried it earlier to see when the sun went down and it just came up with a search result while google actually tells me a time. same thing when i searched for jurassic world's run time yesterday ( great movie by the way).

Seems like a dumb waste like Siri. No one is going to sit there and talk to their computer when they could do it much faster and without talking and the risk of it messing up. Cool anyways

 

IMO, I use Siri a lot on my devices, very convenient. Depending on implementation this could be useful.

If they screw with any of the existing buttons for this useless gimmic I am going to "kill" someone. Oh and also can someone explain why we would need a button if we will have Hey Cortana (voice activated)...no need for a stupid button than....shame on you toshiba!
