Need new lens. Micro four thirds

I just bought an Olympus Pen E-PL6. I dont remember a lot about cameras, its been so long... 35mm days for me..

This camera is good so far but I really want a decent lens to zoom in on something from a distance, such as get a picture of my kid from across a small field. Im not sure what lens I would need. Any help appreciated. I assume something like this lens but its a tad pricy

I can't find anything with quick google search, and it doesn't look like Tamron makes anything or sigma, so cheap brands are out.

Probably no one makes lenses for that system.

But I think with micro four thirds this lens would zoom enough, 300mm equivalent is not bad at all http://www.amazon.com/Olympus-40-150mm-F4-0-5-6-Panasonic-Cameras/dp/B0066J6EOU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1434219505&sr=8-1&keywords=micro+four+thirds+lens

For reference.

Oh and if you didn't know 50mm~(45? whatever) is about how human eye sees the distance so that is probably needed for reference too. Derp me.

So yeah, the lens I linked is still the best candidate even by that website.

How does equivalent work? Is that with digital zoom

Equivalent just works by sensor size. Bigger sensor needs bigger lens for the same focal length effect. So full frame sensor and 300mm lens is apparently equal to 140mm for micro four thirds. Human eye has focal length of about 22mm and full frame dslr needs about 45mm to get the same image.

It's the same reason why phones can have such tiny lenses and still capture normal images, the sensor is tiny too.

There is also a shorter distance zoom at 40-150mm(80-300mm-35equiv.) that should be good for what you plan on doing
