Best DSLR Camera for Aerial Video/ Photography

Hello. So I want to get into aerial video/ photography and just filming/ photography in general. This would be for future use because I don't have any money right now, but I like high quality and stuff that will last me a long time, so I was looking at the Nikon D800 (or D10/ D810A) and a high quality octocopter or hexacopter (I would use WAY lower quality quadcopters to learn how to fly). But what I was wondering is what drone would you guys use? And, are the Nikon D800 series good for filming or just photography?

Thanks.

For that , i would not be looking at dslr's. I would look into a mirrorless system as they are lighter weight and can offer just as good or better image quality. You would be much better off by going with somthing like the sony a7 mkII.

Case: Phanteks Evolve X with ITX mount  cpu: Ryzen 3900X 4.35ghz all cores Motherboard: MSI X570 Unify gpu: EVGA 1070 SC  psu: Phanteks revolt x 1200W Memory: 64GB Kingston Hyper X oc'd to 3600mhz ssd: Sabrent Rocket 4.0 1TB ITX System CPU: 4670k  Motherboard: some cheap asus h87 Ram: 16gb corsair vengeance 1600mhz

Technically a decent drone would be fine carrying a DSLRs perhaps not ideal but still possible. Though I'd have to agree with you that something like the a7 mk2 would be best suited for this sort of thing. Though the lens compatibility for Sony-E sort of sucks.
