It's not about not being able to keep up, it's about using what works... Phenom was faster, but somehow they went backwards, even Vishera cannot make up that difference.

Are you really comparing a High end CPU with a low end CPU? Time chenges, Which end the CPU is doesnt change, Only the perfomance.

A 200$ phoneom vs a 80 bucks FX.

Well FX is good if it can use all 8 cores. Sadly very few games on the market allows it to at the moment! DX12 is gonna fix that if we can trust AMD & Microsoft. At this point I am not gonna bet money on it but many say DX12 will make CPUs and GPUs better!

 

And if current tests of FX-8350 in DX12 is what we will see in DX12 GAMES then Zen will be even more epic!

*current tests shows FX-8350 be quite near to the i5-4690K! But it sounds to good to be true kinda*

Sounds like you bought a chip without doing any research first. You can't bitch about how crappy AMD is when you clearly don't know about the product you bought. Intel is a much larger company and has much more resources to put towards developing the best of the best when it comes to their CPUs and AMD just so happened to have a time where they CPUs where not quite up to par but that kind of stuff happens.

I am not saying it will be better in a game for sure but in tests so far in DX12 it gets better scores or near the same, but that does not mean 100% that the FX will get same result in DX12 games and the first DX12 game I got is ARK and well not optimized just yet or even DX12ed yet...
