Why should i play CS: GO

Right now i currently out of games so i want to paly something new. i play all sorts of game moba, rpg and etc.

Does it worth the price in steam?

Note: i only have 1mbps internet connection.   will my ping be stable even if i live here in Philippines (SEA)

What ping do you normally get in games?

It should go on sale for like 5$ in a few days, get it then.

first of all, its a huge learning curve thats probs not even worth your time

secondly, people are aids in game and its frustrating to lose most of the time

ive been playing for a little over a year and a few months, so take this with a grain of salt

 

edit: you said your ping is normally not low? makes it even worse, anything more than 80ms in that game brings a tear to the face, literally

If you want to play a game, find a game that you want to play. Not one you have to be convinced by others to do.

The topic title rather says: "Convince me as to why I should play CSGO." Either way, there aren't many Asian servers to my knowledge.

Yep i also meant that. Less Asian Server which means i will lag most of the time?

i mean. i would try it just to know why people love it. get it during the steam sale. i would've never have gotten it if i didnt buy it during the winter sale.

 

it's really fun, like all games, if you have someone to play with. expect to get yelled at a lot. community is mostly consisted of people yelling bush did 9/11 and allah akbar..

I can assure that i have edge in competitive gaming.

So my gaming experience will be bad if i have 100-150ms?

It's not a great FPS game. I would much rather play something like Tribes.

Personally, I like fast paced shooters, and CSGO is anything but that. It's very slow paced for most of the round. A little bit of action here and there. Half the game is listening to people walk.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

i noticed that the population of csgo is big so i want to give it a try but as the other forumers said i shouldnt because my ping is too high to have a good experience.

yep. some say its "ok" and others like me (majority of people) cant stand it.

thats why its always a pain for me (US player) to play with my British and Irish friends, one side of the lobby will get stuck with the horrible ping.

If you have over 90 ping you're going to have a very bad time.

CS:GO took too much of my time and i flunked Algebra because of it(didn't study much).

Took me over like 9 months to learn the game to get into a good level.(Gold Nova).
Your gonna want to spend some money to open cases or buy some skins that can cost you 100+ dollars......

Unless your silver then rounds take around 30 seconds.

way faster than any cod game ive ever seen.

Nvidia is to Dr Dre Beets as AMD is to KFC.

I've done a match in 38.

A whole game of comp can take up to an hour and a half.

You haven't played much CoD have you.
