ITs only at like 50% gpu usage?

Why is this?

 

Also, no matter what settings im at, I only get 30-40 FPS

 

Specs: HD 7850 1gb

FX-6300

16gb ram

Fx CPU is bad for Arma.

Arma is really dependent on CPU and the FX 6300 is not that good for Arma 3..

So is the game CPU based?

 

Arma is really dependent on CPU and the FX 6300 is not that good for Arma 3..

Yes heavily.. but only single threaded performance.

So basicaly it is best for intel CPUs

OK, thats what i thought

 

the game is very cpu based as it has to calculate each bullet (drop,penetration velocity and speed) and other intense things that simulate realism

I also play on 40FPS with my system.. the game is bitch on King of the Hill 110 player servers :( Sometimes it dips down to 20FPS.

I still havent figured out to play. I just drive the vehicles around :)

 

Some day im going to figure it out.

I on the other hand love flying heli. I used XBOX Controller for that at first but the controlls were simply not enough to handle on Controller so I switched it back to M+KB.

I can give you my controlls which I find really fiting for flying heli:

 

W - heli up

S - heli down

A - heli lean left

D - heli lean right

 

Arrow up - heli lean forward

Arrow down - heli lean backwards

Arrow left - heli turn left

Arrow right - heli turn right

 

TAB - lock target

Right CTRL - fire

Z - flares

F - change weapon type

 

This is basicaly everything I use in heli. I dont touch mouse unless I just want to look with my head from the window. I also only fly from first person and I do low flights over the terrain mostly.
