Mitx case recommendation?

Gdourado

Hello,

I have a friend that is thinking about building an itx gaming system.

I am not that much into sff builds, so I am wondering if there is any case with these features:

- horizontal motherboard placement

- support for top end gpus.

- support for performance AIO cpu coolers (240 or 280 radiators)

- good cable management for a clean build.

From what I gathered, the corsair 380t seems to tick almost all requirements, but it's style might not be to everyone's taste.

So, any alternatives on the ITX world?

Thanks.

Cheers!

The Fractal Design Node 304 is an excellent case from what I've gathered but it only lacks support for 240/280mm+ AIOs. If your friend really wants the 240mm support, then Bitfenix Prodigy would be the way to go as suggested by 007agentHP or the Corsair 250D which also supports a 240mm AIO but it seems the 5.25" drive bay will have to be left empty.

If you regard my facts as wrong, feel free to rectify it.

Corsair 380T

three of my friends, including myself, have this case.

My friend stuffed a R9 295x2 into it no problem, including a H100i GTX.....

i think the only thing he had to do was use some pliers to bend a lump on the frame in. No structural weaknesses was caused by doing this and it is no visible afterwards because the GPU is so massive it is litterally 1mm from the frame.....

Corsair Obsidian 250D might be an ok option if your friend goes with a 240mm rad. As for GPU support, heck even EVGA classifieds fit that case with some right-angled power connectors.
