What does everyone think about this. Which would be the best choice.

(PS. consider any variable, just tell me what you think)

Intel seems to be better for gaming pretty much everywhere, except for at the 70 USD range.

It all depends on what you are looking for. Don't generalize too much

Intel 95% of the time.

AMD is best used when you simply can't get a graphics card in the budget, but that is really hard nowadays with $100-200 cards packing a decent punch.

If you are on a budget, an AMD CPU is the clear choice since price-to-perfomance is way better on the red team :)

That only applies if your budget is like $300

Ok, soooo intel is the way to go. in my eyes, anyone on that strict a budget needs to save up for some more pennies, but what about the Pentium g3258 Anniversary?

The Pentium is good if all you want to do is play mobas or indie games. If you want to play AAA games it gets pretty bad minimum and average fps in some games. Go with an i3 if you can't get an i5

My rig:
CPU: i5 4690k 24/7 @4.4ghz (1.165v) Max 4.7ghz (1.325v) COOLER: NZXT Kraken X61 MOBO: Asus Z97-A   RAM: 16GB Crucial Ballistix Tactical   GPU: EVGA GTX 970 SSC   PSU: EVGA GS 650W   CASE: NZXT Phantom 530 HDD: WD Caviar Blue 1TB + WD Black 2TB

Sorry, I would NOT go out of my way to buy the Pentium G3258, everyone was saying that you should only go AMD if your on a tight budget and suggested the Pentium as another budget CPU. I would defiantly go for at least an i5.
