Corsair New 750d "Airflow Edition" Case

Along with the new Bulldog case that Corsair has been teasing and today announced, Corsair has announced a whole host of new products including a refreshed "Airflow Edition" 750d. It's essentially Identical to the existing 750d but with a new meshed front panel and they swapped out the air filter underneath for a low resistance one.

I'm personally excited about this as they kept all the dimensions the same as the old 750d, so you can simply buy the new front panel and air filter as standalone products and swap them out in your existing 750d as I'll most likely be doing!

Well, it's not so much a new case, as much as it's a new front panel and filters. Still, I wish more manufacturers were like CaseLabs, where the parts can be changed to fit a certain build better.

Very lazy. Should've removed drive bays and gave us a front that was just fans/radiators.

Don't they have just the front panel available for sale?  I swear I saw it a couple of months ago.

Anyway... I hope they do the same thing for the 350D.

Corsair......y u b so boring?!

Seriously, make an updated version of the air 540 with better drive space and fans at the bottom of the case instead of two "hot swap" drives that require you to open the damned case.

Hm... I own a 750D since half a year now and i think it definitly has enough airflow. This mesh kind of ruins the simplicity and elegance of the Design. The only way it might come in handy is if you plan to mount a radiator in the front.

Seems like they watched 750D modding. metric butt ton of people did the front mesh as a mod. :)

I think the original 700D was still better. It had the airflow of a potato, but the expansion options and build quality were amazing. The only plastic in the entire case was the HDD trays.

The original Obsidian cases were fantastic. The 800D was a monster as well. But Corsair needed the more 'modern' design as opposed to the industrial look I think.

Actually I went over the price break down, 400 nets you:

-100 for the z97 mini itx (this is a decent to good deal)

-100 for the 600 gold rated SFX power supply (this is a good deal)

-100 for the AIO water cooler (Pending thermals, this is from decent to excellent deal)

-100 for the case itself (which is the only part you can consider mediocre because of the looks, passable to decent if you actually like the looks)

I don't think it's overpriced at all for what you're getting.

It's expensive IMO as my wallet isn't that big, overpriced no.
