Q: What happens when I get hired to test 6 40in displays on a PC?

iamdarkyoshi

A: exactly what one would expect...

I was really surprised to see such an old graphics demo run at such an absurd eyefinity resolution. Sorry about the audio, my dad was talking and the displays did not have very loud speakers.

This is for a digital signage project. We needed to test the pc, displays, and mounting brackets. So I did.

Nice.

What GPU did you use?

INTEL I5-4670K | ASUS Z87-A | CORSAIR 16GB Vengence | EVGA GTX 980 SuperClocked | SAMSUNG 850 EVO 250GB | COOLER MASTER CM Storm Scout 2 | CORSAIR RM850

it's funny that you can almost find that resolution in some 5" phones

10/10.

Now get the right hardware and run minesweeper on it.

FULL screen.  ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Uhh... no. That would take a while. And yes, these are 1080p panels. Unfortunately, the software for the digital signage supports up to 4096x4096 so we could not go full resolution. But the hd7870 seems more than adequate for this, so it has been underclocked to try to get this machine to run 5 years straight.

hd7870. The top left and right panels had to be used on dvi, but the rest are displayport and the final installation will be displayport only.

My 6950 has the same output. Four DP. Two DVI.

All outputs on this card are Displayport. However, they are are all minidisplayport and it only came with 4 mdp to dp adapters and two mdp to dvi. we just need to order two more mdp to dp
