via

this is theoretical but, for video editing would dual titan x's or k4200's be better?

The Quadro line is designed specifically for CUDA-based work. Such as 3D-modeling, high-end video compositing, etc. Quadro cards are almost always going to win versus Titan cards. Unless of course you drop a $300 Quadro versus a Titan X. Even then, the gap can sometimes be small.

Considering what this guy says, and the fact a Quadro K4200 costs $700(ish) you could get 3 of them for the price of 2 Titans Xs.  The OBvious winner seems to be the Quadros.

For the Best builds and Price lists here is a world where many points of the price have been predefined already for your convenience!

The Xeon E3 1231 V3 IS BETTER Than the Core i5 4690K and a Significantly better value for the non-overclockers or value shoppers.

The OS is like a kind food, Try it before saying if you like it or don't.
