Posted May 29, 2015 A friend of mine called me up because his friend wanted to build a sub $1000 (including monitor and windows) gaming PC.I'm now friends with that guy, and we decided on the parts a bit over a week ago. Just yesterday the last of the parts came in and he started his first computer build with me teaching him.He had me do cable management though. The SpecsCPU - Intel Core I5 4690KMotherboard - ASRock Z97m Pro 4RAM - G.Skill Ares Series 2x4GB @ 1600MhzCase - Fractal Design Arc Mini R2.GPU - Sapphire R9 280 Dual-XCPU Cooler - Hyper 212 EvoHDD - WD Blue 1TBPSU - EVGA SuperNOVA GS 550W.Additional Fans - Some unused 120mm Coolermaster fan I had laying around.Lights - NZXT Hue.Monitor - Acer H236HL.I actually kinda forgot to take pictures while building . It was kinda exciting for him since hes never worked on a computer before.I do have some of the completed computer though. Sorry about low res, I'm hopefully going back over to help him with setting up windows, drivers and all that stuff. Maybe with actual daylight my camera won't have a hard time seeing everything. Its probably nothing impressive for this board, but he wanted me to post it since hes proud of it, and I think it looks pretty good. Posted May 29, 2015 Nice build. But I do agree. SSD. If you want windows on it that is a real pain in the a*s to reinstall after. Just because you don't care, doesn't mean other others don't. Don't be a self-centered asshole. -Thank You a PSA from the people who do not say random shit on the internet.
 Posted May 29, 2015 Author How long is the NZXT LED Light? I have the same case and comtemplating 1 m or 2 m. I'm thinking 2m would be right? Not sure but it is much longer then I needed in my Define R4. Actually here is a sudo diagram of how I set up the lights in this Arc Mini, and my R4. (Blue line is the LED strip)
