Why should I pay a price premium for CODE keyboards?

Anthony10

I'm looking for a white backlit 87key keyboard with mx Browns. So far I have found the CODE keyboards, CM keyboards, and a few others. It seems that the CM keyboards and others have the same specs as the CODE keyboards, but cost $50 less.

So, are you paying for the brand name or are there additional or improved features on the CODE keyboards.

Corsair k65 rgb is also cheaper than the code and seems to have more features, the style is a bit different, though.

You can get CODE with MX Green and Clears which are quite rare in keyboards so I guess a premium would be justified there if you are looking for a keyboard with those switches. If you don't care for those switches then it isn't worth the extra money. There are a lot of other good MX Brown keyboards out there for less. I can recommend the Shine 3 but i don't think they sell them any more so I would go for something like the Cooler Master Storm Quickfire Rapid / Rapid-i, ROCCAT Ryos TKL Pro, etc.

They come with greens and clears which are hard to find as well as having backlighting.
