Not your usual keyboard question.

I've got a friend with a baby that likes to sit on his lap while he games and the lighted keys are like baby heaven. Is it possible to have a keyboard set to be lit up but not usable? I would think that disabling the device might also switch off the backlight, but maybe someone else here has had similar circumstances and know what can be done. Thanks guys.

unplug the usb..?

He wants it to still light up, the point is the have the baby play with and slobber on the non functioning one while the one that's being used remains unslobbered.

Just plug it into a wall wart

It would still light up like normal? Thank you.
