The software I'm using is Rainmeter, Honeycomb skin, Monstercat visualizer, and a custom window theme.

 

Some parts such as the volume display, email notifications, and visualizer have been moddified/custom made

If enough people are interested I will post the source code for all the parts I have changed myself :)

I mean... You can do that with any operating system but.. Ok.

 

I like the Monstercat Visualizer. Its a bit overpowering, but its a bit nice as well. Does that only work with songs and sound?

It registers any sound that comes from the PC

Its also not visible most of the time because when I play music I have windows open over top, and when its not palying anything you cant see the visualizer at all

 

Meh, too much effort.

Not a fan of the style myself. I'd much rather have a sleek and simple design.

Yeah I think the icon colours are a bit too bright/large

I like the gray theme though, much more simple than the windows theme

rainmeter is not available on linux

coding a program like this from scratch would take me a lot more than a few minutes that it took me to download it

I made some improvements (and temporarily removed colour)

I'm working on coding skins that will allow me to group and hide launch icons so that there is only about 4 or 5 instead of 30
