R9 290X & FX-6300 Power supply? 600W or 700W

Dont get raidmax power supply pllease I beg you please please please please please please

At least get a Corsair CX750

Also get a 8320.You ganna get some bottlenecks

Hi there,

I am just wondering if my planned build would be sufficient with a 600W Power supply, or wether a 700W supply is needed.  Also, I am definitely using one which is an 80 Plus Bronze Certified supply.

Also, please note that this is a "budget" build, and I am trying to get the best possible performance for the lowest price, atm thinking CX 600M, but I might go for the SilverStone Strider 600W, I might need to upgrade to the RaidMax 635W or 735W.

Please post your oppinions!!!

Also, should I upgrade the FX-6300 for the FX-8320???  Will post this in appropriate forum as well.  just a side note.

The FX-8320 is worse go for a FX-6350.

What? Where did you find that?

An AMD cpu has no place in a solely gaming build, end of.

I3 4150, Intel HD graphics, corsair CX750M, 4gb ram, Asus H81M-E, corsair 230T, Intel stock cooler WD Green 2TB Gigabyte 550TI

Why you shouldn't trust Gpu or Cpu boss Click on this I dare you!

It's called per core performance.

Past 4 cores the FX will still be better due to how AMD's architecture works, the 6350 is only better when using 1-3 cores.

Thanks for the quick reply's!  I will mark the most helpful answer as solved, but all of your answers helped (and confused me :D).  Yes, i thought the CPU would be a bottleneck, but I will continue that debate (6350 or 8320) in the CPU forum.

Thanks Again!!!
