How would you 'polish' a PC?

if you want to polish, you have to remove surface area

 

cleaning =/= polish

Thus why I put a slash "/".

Hello,

 

Just a simple question. I was just watching Top Gear and they made fun of people washing their cars, is that suppose to be a bad thing? (episode where James and Jeremy test cars for caravanning). But I do know there are car polish cans/chemicals/cloth you can buy to make your car look like it just came out of a showcase studio. So I am wondering does PC have something like that ? :D

 

My Define R5 is a bit dusty on the outside so it is a good opportunity to experiment.

I'd just wipe it down with a microfiber cloth or something along those lines

Polish is made to remove tiny scratches and imperfections. If you want it to look shiny then it's wax, that is for paint. For cleaning plastics look into interior cleaners designed for hard plastics.

Microfiber cloth of some sorts and some liquid that you also use to clean windows.

You can use that usually on PC cases.

You send it to Warsaw for a weekend and let it get wasted. When it comes back it should be polish. I got it right?

de-dust then polish/clean-up obviously

Nah bit of a joke really.  The section of the show was them trying to make an ad fo rthe new Golf.  First attempts had it speeding and RRR-RRR race type noises dubbed on the "advertizers" said it was not acceptable to show it breaking the law and that it was misleading to dub on noises so Clarkson (ever the right winger) came up with Germany invading Poland in tanks and the Golf's frugality on fuel (being a diesel) hence the "Berlin to Warsaw in one tank"
